Copywork has been used for 100s of years to teach people how to write better sales copy.
The idea is simple:
You study proven sales letters, ads, and emails, and then hand copy them onto a piece of paper– yes with a real pen and paper. This works because you recognize the styles and flows of good sales copy.
This same strategy is used to teach other skills. If you want to learn to play the keyboard, you can buy one that lights up the keys when you need to press them. Pretty quickly, you’ll have a feel for how to play popular songs.
We do the same thing when we’re learning to speak. We listen to other people talk and mimic them.
